Understanding Billing Amount

Billing Amount is the amount that a Merchant charges a Customer for the purchase of Goods and Services. It reflects the gross value of the transaction between the Merchant and the Customer and serves as the baseline for further calculations. Billing Amount is the upfront amount transferred by Score to the Merchant when a transaction is initiated. It helps Merchants maintain cash flow while their Customers repay later.

Formula

Total Billing Amount = ( Price of Goods and Services × Quantity of Goods and Services ) + Merchant GST

Key Notes

Billing Amount includes applicable taxes such as GST.
Billing Amount does not include fees or deductions such as Discount or Processing Charges — these are applied separately.
Billing Amount is refunded proportionally in case of a refund.
